| Sprite has a double chine hull and
is built by the now almost universally known "stitch and tape"
method of construction utilising epoxy resin and glass tape.
The hull shell, frames, floor boards and chassis
for the sliding seat are of marine ply. The gunwale structure is
formed of two laminations of mahogany separated by a thin laminate
of white wood, which in an addition to contributing to gunwale strength
provides an attractive timber contrast.
The interior of the hull and sliding seat structure
is varnished. The outside is finished with yacht enamel from a standard
colour range. Sliding seat gear is from a leading supplier of this
equipment and the outriggers are our own special design in wood
with a stainless steel brace.
It can be supplied as a kit, as part built, with
the hull and sliding seat chassis ready assembled or as a boat completely
finished, painted and varnished to our standard specification.
Suitable sculls can be provided as an extra either
in rough form ready for sanding and painting/varnishing or finished.
